ABOUT

MATTHEW is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His first film, Solo, won the King Award for Screenwriting at NYU’s First Run Film Festival. His latest short, The Mess He Made, premiered at SXSW, was selected as "Short of the Week," and was a Top 3 finalist for the Iris Prize, an international award recognizing excellence in LGBT cinema. He is a 2018 Sundance Ignite fellow, a member of the 2017 New York Film Festival Artist Academy, a recipient of the 2017 Richie Jackson Artist Fellowship and a 2018 Artist Resident at The Spruceton Inn. He currently works as a freelance editor.
